Company History

Fowler On-Site Cleaners was founded by Emmett Fowler in 1954 in Everett, Washington. Then it served as a laundry cleaning service, known as Quick Service Launderette. Emmett taught his son, five-year-old George, the business by teaching him to fold laundry while standing on a stool that same year.

George E. Fowler continued working in the family business and graduated from Edison Tech (now Seattle Community College) with a focus on Dry Cleaning. Soon after, George began a teaching class at the college under the auspices of Mr. Harold Newcomer, in 1968.

Later, George graduated from the Royal Tone Leather Academy and continued teaching classes for many years after. He actively remained working in the family business, keeping abreast of the latest methods of the cleaning industry.

In 1989, George took over the family business, added a rug cleaning service one year later and an in home carpet cleaning service.

The Fowler family relocated the base to Mount Vernon, Washington in 1999 and changed the company name to Fowler Cleaners and Laundry. It was then Fowler began in-home carpet cleaning with the Roto – Vac ™ and On Site ™ wet and dry cleaning with the On Site ™ method. After five years in Mount Vernon, Fowler Cleaners & Laundry closed in September 2004, thus prompting the beginning of Fowler On-Site Cleaners the following month.

For over 50 years, Fowler On-Site Cleaners has served thousands of residential and commercial customers who are amazed by the high quality, professional services and craftsmanship the company offers.
